Lesley O’Brien, Ph.D., was born and raised in Cheshire, England. From high school dropout to neuroscientist, to sailor, to children’s book author, Lesley is an English-American writer and ailurophile with a taste for adventure. She lives with her kitty Marco, and her husband Chris in Virginia, where they spend their time sailing the Chesapeake Bay and adventuring together on their sailboat, SV Amarok.
