Multi-genre fantasy author Nancy E. Dunne lives and works in the Upstate area of South Carolina with her Irish Wolfhound Stanley, her terrier mix Willow-Pickle, and her husband Simon.
Nancy is a nationally certified American Sign Language/English interpreter as well as an author, and when she’s not hard at work in higher education can be found working on her next novel and hanging out with ‘the kids’ and her husband. Her work very much informs her writing, and much of her interests involve how language and culture affect character interaction.
Her Orana Chronicles high fantasy world boasts three completed series and a new novella to date: Tales of the Forest War, The Nature Walker Trilogy, Guardians of Orana, and the novella series, Orana’s Legacy, which is in progress.
For something completely different, she has two published novels in her LitRPG/portal fantasy series, The World of Arcstone, as well as an alternative history/gas lamp novel in Striđ: A Luminous Beings Mystery.
